Our Core Mandate
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is a non-fee charging multi-employment service facility or entity established in all local government units (LGUs) in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) pursuant to Republic Act No. 8759 (The PESO Act of 1999).
PESO Torrijos serves as a key employment and counseling hub for local residents, student job seekers, and prospective employers within Marinduque. We link job applicants directly to employers, coordinate student internships, and provide financial aid and livelihood projects to low-income households.

Job Referral & Placement
Direct matching of local job seekers to open vacancies within municipal limits and surrounding areas.
SPES Program
Special Program for Employment of Students providing summer employment opportunities to low-income students.
GIP Internships
Government Internship Program giving young professionals experience in local government offices.
Livelihood Assistance
Administering DILEEP grants and capital allocations for self-employed livelihood groups.
